Our super arch fenders offer improved efficiency and angular performance, whilst the new anchor layout pattern give better stability and a stronger attachment to the supporting structure even under very heavy impacts. All Arch Fenders share the same single piece construction with encapsulated steel mounting plate vulcanized into the base flanges.

As a wharf protection system, JDA series Arch Fenders adopt the injection moulding production method to avoid low compactness and uniformity of rubber density resulted from manual manufacturing. Injection moulding is one of the most advanced techniques to manufacture rubber fenders in the world. Compared with the manual moulding, it has high compactness, high integrity, more uniform performance, high anti-aging, strong steel-rubber bond strength, long service and good appearance.

JIER Arch Fender Compression Test

The above picture is the Compression Test of JIER Super Arch Fenders which we tested in JIER Rubber Fender Factory for our Greece Client. We JIER have a 2000T Fender Compressive Testing Apparatus for quality control test of each fender.

The fender performance is determined by the absorbed energy and maximum reaction force in the procedure when the fender is compressed to the rated deflection. In the performance testing procedure, the rubber fender is under direct force vertical to the fender surface, the compression speed shall be 2-8cm/min.

2000T Fender Compressive Testing Apparatus:

The fender compressive testing apparatus is mainly used in normal and sampling testing. It is equipped with pressure & displacement transducers on the apparatus. The pressure and displacement signal are sent to a computer during the compressive testing so the performance curve can be gained simultaneously.
