PIANC is a worldwide non-political and nonprofit technical and scientific organization of national governments, corporations and private individuals. It was founded in 1885 and is the oldest international association concerned with these technical aspects of navigation. Qingdao Jier Engineering Rubber Co., Ltd. is a corporate member of PIANC.
PIANC has introduced new methods and procedures for testing the performance of solid rubber fenders, allowing for real world operating conditions, in their document ‘Guidelines for the Design of Fender Systems: 2002: Appendix A – Procedure to determine and report the performance of marine fenders’.
JIER Fender Factory and Marine Fender Products have approved by BUREA VERTITAS to PIANC 2002 Guidelines and ASTM D – Standard Test Methods for Vulcanized Rubber and Thermoplastic Elastomers-Tension.
